anxiety
There are stressful situations in everyone’s life that causes anxiety issues to arise. Jobs are the top stresses when it comes to anxiety and many people cannot wait until the weekend when they can put all their stress aside and enjoy time with family and friends. However, there are some people who cannot put their stress aside; they tend to worry about everything. In this economy, it is being seen more and more, stress is taking a toll on people and leaving them with anxiety disorders.
Anxiety happens when you least expect, through life we all have a bit of stress that pushes up to the edge. It makes us worry about this or that; will I be able to pay this bill? Is mother/father going to make it through this surgery? Those are both viable reasons to worry. Sometimes though, people worry over small things they cannot control. Worrying becomes a needless act in one’s life, but they cannot help it. People who worry all the time like this are known as “worry warts.”
Anxiety disorders are becoming more common among the population and anxiety medication is being shelled out in the millions department. The most common anxiety disorder is generalized anxiety disorder (GAC). People with this GAC always expect that something bad is going to happen. They live there live believing that disaster is going to strike at any moment. Eventually a person’s home life, work life and even school life are all affected by the disorder. Some symptoms that arise with GAC are sweating, headaches, trembling, fatigue, feeling jumpy/edgy, and irritability.
When it comes to anxiety there are a few things that a person can do before they resort to the use of medication. First and foremost, calm down and try to think as rationally as possible. Think about the potential problem, does it affect you today? If not, then tell yourself to worry about it tomorrow. Think about the practical side of the event that is taking place and do not let yourself worry about what you cannot control. Leave the small things just as they are; do not let yourself worry about them.
