mental health
Mental Health exceedingly important factor in today’s world, many people are feeling the stresses of work, home and life. Our economy has recently witnessed a recession that shyly resembled the Great Depression of the mid-1930’s. The job rate keeps rising which means that less people are able to find work to feed their family and unemployment benefits are just not enough for most people to live on. In some states if you are on unemployment then you make too much for financial assistance.
It is harsh world out there and those who can find a job usually earn about $8 an hour which would be perfect for a teenager who is just starting out in the work force, not for a family of three or more. Due to the harsh times, many people are feeling stressed, anxiety and even depression. Mental health is suffering and people are starting to feel hopeless and worry even more about their future. Will we all be living on the streets soon?
It is a reasonable question. There are not enough jobs to support the thousands or even millions who are looking for one. It is safe to say that some people would like to check into a mental institution for awhile just to put their mind some other place than the stresses of the modern world.
Mental health issues such as depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, clinical depression, geriatric depression, generalized anxiety disorder, panic attacks, postpartum depression, and schizophrenia are all on the rise in today’s world.
People have been stuck inside their homes with little opportunities coming their way, there are not enough jobs for everyone out there and many people are starting to decline mentally because of it. People are starting to get very depressed and even build social phobias to going out in public.
With mental disorders on the rise, where will our future be heading toward?
